Rights Commission, Election Board and security officials clash over election prep findings
The Ethiopian Human Rights Commission presented contested findings from 55 teams deployed to 1,007 polling stations in highly contested constituencies to NEBE, regional security heads, police chiefs and the Political Parties Joint Council ahead of the June 1 vote. Disagreements among the bodies emerged over preparations and conditions, with the assessment excluding Tigray.
