UN chief Guterres urges urgent climate financing at Africa Forward Summit

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called for urgent reform of global climate financing at the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, warning that Africa suffers disproportionately from climate disasters despite contributing under four percent of global emissions. French President Macron announced a 27 billion USD package for African energy transition, AI, maritime infrastructure and agriculture.
