Ethiopia's total public debt reaches 51.8 billion USD, Finance Minister tells parliament

Finance Minister Ahmed Shide disclosed Ethiopia's total public debt at 51.8 billion USD during the Ministry's nine-month performance report to parliament, comprising 33.5 billion USD in external debt and 18.3 billion USD in domestic debt. The Ministry characterized the debt level as healthy as the country progresses through restructuring under the G20 Common Framework.
