CECOE flags security failures and accessibility gaps in 7th general election voter registration
The Ethiopian Civil Society Organizations Coalition for Election (CECOE) said its 522 long-term observers found 97 percent of voter registration centers were in legally authorized sites, with the remainder operating from military camps, police facilities, religious institutions, bars and private residences. A third of manual centers and over a quarter of digital centers were interrupted, and only 12 percent of manual stations were independently accessible to people with disabilities.
