Africa's growth at risk from 1.2 trillion USD debt burden, ECA chief warns

UN Economic Commission for Africa head warned that a combined external debt stock of around 1.2 trillion USD threatens to derail growth across the continent. The remarks added urgency to debt restructuring discussions involving Ethiopia and other distressed sovereigns.
