Mobile money growth not translating into access to credit: FSD report

An FSD Ethiopia report finds more than 99 percent of digital payments still flow through personal rather than business accounts, leaving merchants excluded from formal credit. The agency calls it an "invisible" merchant economy where transaction data exists but is unusable for financial intermediation.
