Election Board requests nearly 10bln Birr supplementary budget

With less than a fortnight to go before the seventh general election, the National Election Board of Ethiopia requested an additional supplementary budget of nearly 10 billion Birr to finance the vote. The ask compounds fiscal pressure on the federal budget already navigating Eurobond deferral and Eurobond debt restructuring.
